Looking to replace my obd2 port on a 2009 Chrysler town and country as 1 of the pins isn't making contact for the obd2 reader. It's the 4 wire setup , I know for a fact it's NOT a fuse as I've tried 2 different readers and had Autozone try (come to find out the cat is bad) and all 3 readers have the same issue. The reader will flash the code , then they (all 3) say to turn the ignition to the on position. 2 of the 3 readers show the code just long enough to read it real quick.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement part without going to a junk yard , or is that my only option?

They should be universal other than maybe how they mount under the dash.

It sounds like one of the female pins is distorted or damaged. You might be able to bend it back in place.

I broke mine by hitting it with a code reader plugged in. Got one from the you-pull-it and swapped each pin one at a time.

Yeah...I was thinking the junk yard thing .... just don't want to risk the same problem.

Just get one of the universal ones from Amazon and screw it in place. That way you know you have fresh pins. The plugs are all the same. You could take one from any modern car in the yard and make it work. It's just how they mount.

This one has options to screw it in place.

This one gives you a bracket to screw in place and clip the port to it.

Any of the options that look like this from that link should work and clip into the stock slot. You won't use the bracket.

I have an OBD2 splitter on mine to run my data logging AFR. I get weird looks from the emissions guy because my port is white. :p
