I know this is a total noob question but would it be possible to use an alternator from a 97 Plymouth grand voyager in a 99 dodge caravan ?

If I recall correctly, some vans, say a bare bones Voyager use a much lower powered alternator than a full zoot Grand Caravan with all of the trimmin's. Best to check the interchange.
