Haven't given the topic much thought lately, but as I'm about to change the trans fluid on my T&C, I needed some ATF+4. Was surprised to find our local Wal-Marts no longer carry the SuperTech fluid; the Valvoline ATF+4 was $9.74 a quart. Pass. Figured I could just order it from the WM website...

Nope, it appears the SuperTech ATF+4 is gone. Best deal Wal-Mart had was a gallon jug of Valvoline for $28.89 + tax. This works out to $7.84/qt. when all is said and done, but the bigger problem is the gallon size. Definitely going to need another quart for top-off. So then I get ripped off for a 10-dollar quart or buy another gallon and save the excess for later.

Amazon's best deal appears to be a 5-liter jug of Mopar fluid for $40.70, free shipping, plus tax. For me that works out to $8.81 per liter. Still a tad high, but the right quantity.

Finally checked RA as I had to make a separate order. They have the Mopar ATF+4 for $4.93/qt. I bought a six-pack for $29.58, and the common 5% off coupon dropped that to $28.10. Even with the $8.99 shipping and $3.03 tax, the whole thing was $40.12 (or $6.69/qt. all-in). Winner.

Yep, I have too much time on my hands. It appears gone are the days of $4.59 SuperTech fluid on the W-M shelves.

If anyone else knows of a better price I'd really like to know.

Mopar ATF+4 at about $5 a gallon seems like a great deal. But have to figure in shipping.
Not a gallon...$4.93 per quart. With tax & shipping for a 6-pack, came to $6.69 a quart. Still the least expensive I could find in 2023.
