Bottom Line:

Will a queen mattress fit in a Dodge Caravan? The interior height of the Dodge Caravan is lower than most minivans, making it very difficult to get the mattress in at an angle. Also, most Caravans have rear passenger seats or trim. If you can take out the passenger seats and don't have any trim, the matress will fit.

My opinion: Queen size box spring won't likely go in, use the roof racks. A queen size mattress that has some bendability will fit. A full size mattress and box spring will fit, depending on dimensions.

I have successfully used the roof racks on a minivan for moving queen size box spring and mattress a couple of times, driving about 30 kms distance.

 

I fit a queen mattress in, but it had to partially folded. The location of the power door button really makes it harder than it should be.

 

I really doubt you can fit a high quality queen mattress without damaging it, maybe a cheap one.

We use our 2012 Town & Country to sleep in 2 to 3 times a year when we attend Van-in's, we bought a foam mattress at a Futon store, its NOT a Futon pad, it was billed as a "double" mattress which is specified at 54 x 75 inches but it doesn't seem like ours is a full 54" wide? It is a hunk of foam about 6 inches thick that has been covered in cloth, the mattress is wider than the floor of the van but it is easy to force in and sleeps two. After all of the seats are folded down the floor of my Town & Country is slightly sloped towards the front of the van so when you park for the night you need to attempt to level things out. We used an air mattress ounce but when you crawl in and out your knees really put pressure on the mattress and I felt sure we would pop it if we kept using it.
I have been involved in Vanning and sleeping in vans (down by the river) for the past 45 years and have seen waterbeds installed in vans but you have to be very careful as you can loose control of the van when cornering, in addition I have been told stories of damaged shocks due to added weight of a water bed.
Many companies now convert the Chrysler minivan into a camping unit but I can say that my wife & I have spent as long a 9 days living in our Town & Country and compared to a full size van living in a town & country is only OK. I am hoping to convert a 144" wheelbase Sprinter by the end of 2020.

That’s easy just put it through a mulcher and shovel it in. You could probably fit a few in that way
