Well two struts installed. It will need an alignment for sure as the camber is way off. Seeing that side was the side where the cam bolt snapped it’s understandable. Doesn’t seem to pull to either side but I did get audible tire squeal on a usual exit going home where it didn’t before.
Very noticeable that the top of that tire is sticking out more than it should.
I can’t see it hurting much at alI if I don’t drive it too much before alignment but then again my ‘eyesight’ isn't great. View attachment 82305
Yeah I wouldn't go far on that. You might be able to eyeball it closer if you wanted. Probably some witness marks on the spindle where the old struts were at. I always try to get it to those markings when I install them.

Nice job getting them done!

Thanks. New cam bolts should arrive Monday and most likely I’ll put one on that side.
That sounds like a good technique using the witness marks. That wasn’t in my thinking box and I didn’t think outside of it to much on this job.

New cam bolt in and it helped the steering wheel offset from center but it’s still off. Alignment in it’s immediate future for sure. Still drives straight with no noticeable pull left or right.

It’s got a Dr. appointment tomorrow. Trying a new place that’s rated fairly well, fwiw.

FCS struts are good quality. They’ve been on my Town and Country for over 30k now, still great.

The clamps you can likely find some that’ll work, try energy suspension, they sell clamps. Or my “local” yard, Newville Auto Salvage has 5-6 2nd gens.

Good luck

Camber was +6 or so on both fronts. Toe in out was 0. It’s done and glad I asked about paying in cash versus credit. $130 in cash versus more than $160 on credit.

Man, you gotta bring it up here. 2 wheel alignment, $59…
