My2013 GC Crew had the normal Rocker Arm "ticking" which lit up CEL. (It ran fine but wouldn't pass the state emission test with a Check Engine light on.) I took it to a recommended shop who stated it was cheaper to replace both heads with rebuilt/warrantied heads. Bottom line, after 4 months of swapping engine parts, Heads, timing chains, oil pump and the PCM... I have numerous CEL and the van is in Limp Home mode. I would like to reinstall the factory PCM. Have any of You actually done this ? Did you disconnect the battery? Is this better left for Dealership?Any issues or cautions I need to be concerned with or can I just "plug & play" the original PCM back in the van ? Thank You,

I can't answer your question directly but I don't see why the car won't run with the original PCM. I don't understand why you changed it in the first place. Good luck.
The "repair shop" that started swapping parts came to the conclusion that the PCM must be the root of all Trouble Codes... After the swap didn't resolve anything; they are giving up.

I am surprised that with such a broad knowledge base (and experienced DIYs) that nobody has physically replaced their PCM. I just don't want to risk making my 2013 GC where it might become disabled because factory resets or maybe Security anti-theft software. Any HELP is appreciated ! Thank You.
