Where do I get a new Trans Pan

Well, the 96 stopped working right the other day, transmission just revving before getting into gear, not going into gear. Dad took her for a spin had the same problems, he managed to back her into the driveway, and he saw the van is leaking transmission fluid (we're pretty sure)
I think we need a new pan, because it happened a little after I was driving her and swerved to avoid a dog, went into a dirt path.
Also, what is the name for these transmissions

Don't mean to sound heartless, but you need to get used to hitting animals that get into your way. Otherwise, you'll be running over trees, soon.

Maintenance gets expensive, that way.

A pan can be purchased at the dealer, or local tranny shop. The tranny is a 41TE/A604. Tell them your year/make/model/engine to get the right part.

I bet you can get one from the junk yard for $10. Just make sure before you go and pull it that you know what they want you to do with the fluid that will come gushing out when it is pulled.

All that is needed is a 10mm deep socket or extension.

Well, I'm gonna have to get her to the shop now, anybody have any ideas for holding the fluid in for about 3 miles?
